whats the process like?

After you contact us, we will set up a time to meet with you. We will talk through more specific details. Once you collect all the information, if you decide that building a Barndominium is the right step for you, we will move forward with drawing up a contract and designing or picking your dream floor plan. We require payment up front after signing the contract so we can begin purchasing materials as soon as possible.

After signing the contract, payment and talking through the layout of your new home Including square footage, open floor plan or closed,  how many bedrooms, kitchen layout, living room layout and more. 

(Don't worry! We will help you figure all of that out!)  We will begin working on a rough version of blueprints as well as a virtual 3D version of your home so you will be able to see the layout and design of  your home right from your phone or computer. This step will take a bit of time; we want to ensure your complete satisfaction in every aspect of designing your home. 

After you are satisfied with the finished blueprints and design, we will send them into the city in which  your home is being built  to be approved. After approval we can begain construction! This process will take 6-12 months (subject to change) depending on the size of your home. 

Paint colors, cabinet colors, window design, bathtub, door handles, and much, much more! This is the fun part! Don’t feel overwhelmed, this is the time you get to decide unique aspects  that will make it feel like home! We will give you a basic rundown of all the great custom choices you will get to choose from. As you begin customizing your home we will add to the virtual 3D model so you can see your choices in your home. If you don’t like it, don’t worry, we will work until your satisfied. The decision isn’t final until the purchase of the product. As with every step we will work hard in ensuring to honor your  set budget. 

After only a couple months of hard work (on our part) you are finally ready to move into your new home! The last step is to do a final walk through to ensure your complete satisfaction!
